About Us
Bridging Borders for Ukraine is a nonprofit organization with the goal of aiding Ukrainian citizens and students affected by the Russian invasion.
From providing free online English tutoring to raising funds for those affected by the war, we are dedicated to doing our part to alleviate the stress forced on the Ukrainian people over the past three years.
Founded by a team of high school students each with deep Ukrainian roots, our unique connections help us bridge the gap for those in need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for Ukrainian children who have been affected by war to learn and improve their English language skills. We aim to empower these children with the knowledge and tools necessary to communicate effectively, expand their opportunities for education and employment, and ultimately contribute to the rebuilding of their communities. Through partnerships with various Ukrainian schools and organizations, we strive to create a sustainable and impactful program that not only improves language proficiency, but also promotes cultural understanding and mutual respect. Our goal is to help these children overcome the challenges of displacement and conflict and provide them with a brighter future through the power of voice.
